Si on veut décrire la quantité d' une manière plus imprécise, on peut utiliser centaines, milliers, millons (au pluriel).

Faites attention au fait que a few, many et some sont utilisés sans la préposition of, pourtant après a coupe il faut utiliser of. Aprés tens, hundreds, thousands, millions il faut utiliser of s' il sont utilisé seuls.
Après a few, many et a couple (a few thousand books) on utilise le chiffre au singulier, tandis qu' on utilise le pluriel après some (some hundreds books).
